Nagesh is a cybersecurity leader with over two decades of experience across banking, technology, and capital market infrastructure institutions. He brings extensive expertise in technology, cybersecurity, and cyber resilience, with strengths in both defensive and offensive security.He is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from IGNOU. He has completed certifications in Cloud Computing and Ethical Hacking from IIT Kharagpur. He is certified for leadership in era of crisis from ISB. He holds globally recognized credentials, including CISA, CISM, and CGEIT from ISACA (USA), and CISSP from (ISC)² USA. He also holds certifications aligned with ISO standards in risk management, information security, and business continuity.At NSDL, he ensures protection of critical information infrastructure, implements cybersecurity policies, monitors threats, manages incidents, ensures cyber risk management, compliance, and strengthens cyber resilience across systems.Before joining NSDL, he served as CISO for Bank of Baroda (UAE) and led cybersecurity for the Bank's international operations.He enjoys collaborating in area of Artificial Intelligence, agentic AI, Quantum Computing, application security, network security, cyber security, and technology governance.
