With over three decades of leadership across South Asia, I am driven by a deep commitment to redefine sustainability paradigms at a global scale. Currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL), through my role I integrate innovation, technology and sustainability into business strategies, fostering inclusive growth and ESG stewardship. My journey has been shaped by a passion to create systematic change for sustainable future and social impact. From pioneering sustainable practices in the company & industry to championing initiatives like Sustainability Accelerator, Green Channel Partnership, Circular Apparel Innovation Factory, Human Sustainability Movement or Green Village, I advocate for a future where every action contributes to sustainable growth and a greener planet. I have had the opportunity as an expert speaker to share my thoughts on sustainability and social impact at the United Nations in New York in 2019. I also delivered a TEDx Talk on demystifying ESG and three pillars of sustainability - what it takes for corporates, governments and individuals come together to save our ecosystem. As a sought after speaker and advisor in various industry platforms, think tanks and academic forums. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and continual improvement to achieve systemic change and sustainable growth. Currently an active member in various working group and committee at prominent global and national industry platforms, including Cotton 2040, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi), Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF), FICCI, CII, ICC, Indian Fashion Forum etc.
