As EVP and Global CISO at Comcast, I sit at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure resiliency.My career has taken me through software engineering, research, consulting, board service, and executive leadership. Across those roles, one pattern has become clear: the most important technology risks are no longer contained inside technical teams. They now shape business strategy, public policy, customer trust, and national resilience.At Comcast and Sky, I work with teams focused on securing large, complex technology environments while enabling the business to keep moving. I avoid broad claims about security maturity because this field demands humility - we can be one mistake away from failure. What I can speak to are the practical lessons that come from operating at scale, learning continuously, and working across business, technology, policy, and risk.Outside my Comcast role, I contribute to public, private, and advisory boards, industry, academic, and policy discussions on cybersecurity, AI security, privacy, resilience, and technology governance - with a focus on critical infrastructure. I am particularly interested in helping boards, policymakers, and future technology leaders understand how digital trust is built and tested in real operating environments.
