Executive Overview
Oon Jin was previously the Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore. Oon Jin was also a member of the PwC Executive Board for the CaTSH firm, which comprises the PwC firms in Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In addition, Oon Jin was a member of the PwC Strategy Council, which comprised leaders from the largest 21 firms in the PwC global network. Oon Jin has been with PwC for more than 30 years. He has been a key member of the firm’s Leadership Team for more than 15 years and has led the firm through key growth milestones. Oon Jin also chaired several of the firm’s regional joint ventures such as PwC SEA Consulting and PwC SEA Corporate Finance.Since his retirement from PwC, Oon Jin has joined the boards of Singapore Exchange, Singapore Airlines, Trust Bank (Singapore’s first Digital Bank) and SingHealth. On 1 July 2023, Oon Jin joined the board of Carsome Inc (Malaysia’s first Unicorn start-up) as its first independent board member. In October 2023, Oon Jin took over as Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors. More recently Oon Jin joined the board of Singapore Pools (Private) Limited and took over as non-executive Chairman on 1 July 2026.Oon Jin recently stepped down as Chairman of Singapore Land Authority (SLA) after 9 years on the board. He was previously a board member of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and National Arts Council (NAC). He was also the Vice Chair of Singapore Business Federation. In addition, Oon Jin serves as a member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee, which was set up by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.He was previously the past President of CPA Australia (Singapore Division), past Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and past Chairman of the Auditing & Assurance Standards Committee of ISCA.Oon Jin has continued to support the non-profit sector over the years. He is currently a board member of Kidney Dialysis Foundation. He also serves on the board of Governors for the Lien Foundation and has previously served on the board of Shared Services for Charities.
