Pankaj Sharma is Executive Vice President of Software & Services at Schneider Electric, where he leads the company’s global strategy to deliver energy intelligence at scale. He is focused on advancing the ability to predict, prevent, and autonomously optimise operations by integrating software and services into a unified, outcome-driven platform. Previously, Pankaj served as EVP of the Secure Power & Data Center business and Global Services. He led global strategy, R&D, commercial operations, and end-to-end execution across one of the company’s fastest-growing segments. During his tenure, the Secure Power & Data Center business more than doubled in scale and expanded its global footprint, strengthening its leadership in resilient, sustainable, and AI-ready digital infrastructure. He was instrumental in shaping the data center portfolio of the future — from hyperscale and colocation environments to emerging AI factories — and in accelerating high-density and liquid-cooling capabilities through the acquisition of Motivair Corporation. He also transformed the Global Services business into a digitally enabled, lifecycle-driven partner, embedding predictive analytics and remote expertise to drive measurable customer outcomes. Over a 26-year career at Schneider Electric, Pankaj has held senior leadership roles across the U.S. and Asia Pacific spanning strategy, sales, marketing, M&A, and product innovation. He led the acquisition of Luminous Power Technologies, strengthening the company’s position in critical power markets. Pankaj’s leadership philosophy — trust, empower, enable, and challenge — guides how he builds teams and develops talent. He began his career in advanced manufacturing and later held roles at GE, experiences that shaped his operational rigor and pragmatic leadership style. He is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
