View LinkedIn ProfileExecutive Overview
Witnessing my grandmother’s health struggles inspired an early ambition to help others, fueling my desire to become a physician. As Chief Medical Officer at Amgen, I lead global medical strategy, translating science into meaningful outcomes for patients and helping advance the company’s mission. I have spent more than 20 years in biopharmaceutical drug discovery and development, with experience in small and large molecules, mRNA therapeutics across oncology, cardiovascular and metabolic, and infectious diseases. I gained immeasurable experience as Chief Medical Officer at Moderna, where I was responsible for global medical strategy and pharmacovigilance at a critical juncture in public health. I also spent 16 years at Johnson & Johnson in several roles, most recently as Chief Global Medical Affairs Officer, as well as leading digital medicine, including a collaboration with Apple on a virtual clinical trial. I look forward to both learning and sharing more!
