In my fourth decade on the front lines of the enterprise technology revolution, having more fun than ever. Been exciting to see the throughline from building mission-critical systems in native assembler on punchcards to vibe coding with Gen AI. Retired from Accenture after 38 year career, serving as CEO of Accenture's technology business as well as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO). Launched Accenture Ventures, a leading corporate venture capital group, led Accenture's R&D, launched and led the cloud, AI, quantum businesses among others. As of May 2025, working with TPG as AI Advisory Chair, helping with investment themes, deals, and innovation. Active, hands-on angel investor and LP with several VC funds, serving as advisor, coach, etc to a number of founders/teams. Author of books and numerous articles. Board member. Frequent public speaker. And most important priority - spending time with my amazing family, sailing, skiing, etc etc.
