I run the entity-level IT and digital function at TVS Electronics, a listed Indian manufacturer with four business units — Products & Solutions, Customer Support Services, Electronics Manufacturing Services, and Green Energy — plus an Auction SBU and shared Finance and HR horizontals. I report into the MD and present to the board. My job, in one sentence: make sure every rupee of digital spend connects to a P&L outcome — revenue enablement, COGS reduction, working-capital release, or a measurable customer or partner gain. What that looks like in practice: •     Owning the manufacturing and SCM backbone — D365 ERP across factory, supply chain and R&D for the products business; D365 + Intellizest MES for the EMS BU as it scales. •     Building and continuing to evolve SDP, the home-grown field service platform that serves 14,000 pincodes across India and is today the single biggest digital lever for acquiring new OEM brands into our after-sales business. •     Consolidating order capture across Distribution, Enterprise/Government and Large-Format Retail channels into a single Demand Portal — so SCM gets one contract to fulfil, not three siloed pipes. •     Driving the MD-sponsored agentic transformation of our 100-FTE contact centre, building on the IVR and WhatsApp channels already in production. •     Running the whole entity digital function — four BUs and shared horizontals — on a ₹10 Cr/year TCO, with continuous infra and vendor rationalisation. •     Operating a structured governance ledger — the "Digital Command Centre" — that ties every initiative to a BU owner, RAG status, financial impact and risk. Before TVS Electronics, I spent 20 years as an enterprise architect and technology leader at Harman / Aditi Technologies, Wipro, Cognizant and ShipNet — leading large-scale application migration for an Australian bank (1,000+ apps, 10,000+ servers), entitlements-based security for a European market-data provider, integrated-operations architecture for an oil & gas major, and the cloud + data engineering practice for a US restaurant-analytics product company at 1,000+ multi-site operators and 2M+ end users. TOGAF 9 certified. IBM Certified Cloud Architect. SABSA-trained. Recognized by Mint Tech Circle with the Business Transformation Leader Award. I am most interested in CIO and entity-level IT/digital leadership roles in Indian manufacturing — particularly multi-SBU or multi-plant environments where the function needs to be built or rebuilt around business outcomes rather than technology output.
