Prasad Chintamaneni

Prasad Chintamaneni is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Recursion. Recursion Partners backs exceptional teams building vertical AI-enabled services platforms—businesses that combine applied AI, deep customer ownership, and strategic M&A to deliver outcomes for clients. Prasad is also a Senior Advisor to New Mountain Capital. He helps the firm’s investment efforts in digital transformation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Accolite Digital, Bounteous, emids and Personify Health. Prasad was previously the President, Global Industries and Consulting for Cognizant. In this role, Prasad led Cognizant’s vertical commercial organization, which included all industry verticals and the global consulting business. Prior to that, Prasad served as the President of Cognizant’s Banking & Financial Services practice. Prasad joined Cognizant in 1999 and established key relationships with many of Cognizant’s largest banking and financial services clients. Prior to joining Cognizant, Prasad spent seven years in the investment banking and financial services industry, including working at Merrill Lynch and its affiliates as an Investment Banker and member of Merrill’s Business Strategy Committee in India. Prasad holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI - the Xavier School of Management in India.
