I lead global operations at Zydus Lifesciences, spanning Formulations and API manufacturing, API business P&L, and Site Quality — driving end-to-end accountability across one of India’s most respected pharmaceutical enterprises.My career has been built at the intersection of operations, people, and transformation — with deep roots in operations and supply chain across large Indian organisations and global MNCs, and leadership stints as Chief of Global Operations, CHRO, and Head of Global Supply Chain & IT at Zydus. I have spent over 17 years at Zydus, building and leading across functions at a scale few organisations offer.On manufacturing excellence, I have led the design of facilities that earned the ISPE Facility of the Year Award (FOYA) — widely regarded as the global benchmark for pharmaceutical manufacturing — and delivered world-class productivity and OTIF performance.Today, my focus is on re-imagining pharma operations for the next decade — building toward dark facility capability with centralised command centres, deploying AI-enabled QMS and investigation systems, and embedding compliance as an operating culture rather than a checkbox. Industry 4.0 is not a project on my agenda; it is the lens through which I approach every operational decision.I care deeply about how organisations grow people — having established Zydus’s Assessment Centre and Competency Framework as CHRO, I believe learning agility and formative experience are the real engines of leadership development.At the core: integrity, learning agility, and an unshakeable optimism that the best is always still ahead.
