If you ask me what has kept me motivated through more than three decades in business, the answer is simple - building people, creating sustainable growth, and making a meaningful difference.My journey has taken me from FMCG to life insurance, from building businesses from scratch to leading large-scale transformation across distribution, sales, operations and customer experience. Today, I have the privilege of working with thousands of colleagues and partners who share one common purpose: helping more families secure their financial future.I firmly believe that growth is never just about numbers. Sustainable growth comes from earning trust, nurturing leaders, embracing change, and creating organizations that put customers first. Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed building businesses in challenging markets, turning around underperforming teams, and creating cultures where people can do their best work.Insurance has never been just a profession, it has become a personal mission to improve financial awareness and help families prepare for life’s uncertainties.Outside the boardroom, you’ll probably find me behind a camera in the wilderness. Wildlife photography is a lifelong passion, and I’ve documented over 580 bird species across India. Nature constantly reminds me that patience, observation and resilience are just as valuable in leadership as they are in the wild.I’m also an artist at heart, having created 500+ paintings and explored cartooning over the years. Creativity has taught me to see possibilities where others see constraints. I enjoy mentoring startups, coaching emerging leaders, and supporting initiatives that contribute to a greener and more sustainable India.As an African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” That philosophy continues to shape how I lead, how I build teams, and how I hope to leave every organization stronger than I found it.
