Prior to RITES, at CONCOR, Mr. Mithal played a key role in the design and timely construction of over 20 mega Multi-Modal Logistic Parks (MMLPs)/warehousing projects with a total capex of Rs. 2500 crore, overcoming many challenges, especially of land acquisition. These parks have state-of-the-art Warehousing Complexes, Rail Sidings and customized facilities for specialized cargo etc. Closely worked with various Ministries and State Governments for strategic tie-ups & JVs, and represented CONCOR as Nodal Officer for the Sagarmala Programme. Overall, such experience helped in standardizing the MMLP design and bidding for international projects such as setting up similar facility in Egypt. Besides, associated with various digitization initiatives for CONCOR. At the Railways, associated with large-scale modernization projects such as Katni Wagon Maintenance Depot, Coach Workshop in Mumbai and Lucknow Diesel Locomotives Shed.
