Ravi Pandit

Ravi Pandit is the Chairman of K&P Group, a diversified group with deep roots in technology, professional services and sustainability. As Chairman & Co-Founder of KPIT Technologies Ltd., he has steered the company to become a global leader in automotive software and mobility solutions. Today, KPIT partners with every major global OEM, powering millions of vehicles across the world, with engineering centers in Europe, the USA, Japan, China, Thailand and India. The group also includes Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants (KPCA), one of the largest Indian-origin CA firms. Headquartered in Pune with seven regional offices across India, KPCA has a global footprint in 15 countries and employs over 1,200 professionals, serving clients across sectors. Ravi is passionate about the environment, technology and social policy, always seeking ways to create a more sustainable and equitable world.  He is the Founder of HRIDAY Energy Network (a Section-8 company), where his vision is to build sustainable bioenergy ecosystems for advancing rural prosperity and energy independence. Alongside business, Ravi has co-founded and supported several social and civic initiatives: * Janwani, focused on making Pune one of India’s most liveable cities. * Pune International Centre (PIC), a policy think-tank driving dialogue and ideas for nation-building. * Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) at Gokhale Institute. * Jnana Prabodhini, where he serves as President, advancing education and leadership development. * Board member of social organizations such as the World Resources Institute (WRI) and Aga Khan Rural Support Program India (AKRSP-I). He has served as President of MCCIA and contributed nationally as Chairman of the Research Council at CEERI and as a member of CII committees.  He is also a member of the Empowered Group under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). Ravi is currently on the board of leading corporate Thermax. He co-authored the award-winning book “Leapfrogging to Pole-vaulting – Creating the magic of radical yet sustainable transportation” with Dr. R.A. Mashelkar. Ravi is a gold medalist and Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), an Associate Member of ICWAI and holds a Master’s from the Sloan School of Management, MIT. He has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Technology by Coventry University and awarded an Honorary DLitt by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.
