Executive Overview

I am a C-suite and board leader who has spent three decades running large, complex businesses for Fortune 150 companies and big brands. Over my career at U.S. Bank and Target Corporation, I led teams that drove financial performance, brand trust and long-term stakeholder value.I know the boardroom from both sides of the table. As Chair of Make-A-Wish America, one of the country's most recognizable and trusted brands, I lead board governance including strategic planning, CEO oversight and board composition. At U.S. Bank, I was staff liaison to the Board's Public Responsibility Committee. I attended board meetings, presented frequently, managed charters and agendas, and advised directors on risk, reputation, and governance. My nonprofit committee experience includes Nominating and Governance (Chair), Advancement (Chair), Strategy, and Finance. Most recently, I served as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Social Responsibility Officer, and President of the U.S. Bank Foundation. As a member of U.S. Bank’s Managing Committee, the senior-most team overseeing the strategic direction and performance of U.S. Bancorp, I operated at the intersection of business strategy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise reputation in one of the most highly regulated industries in the country, advising senior leadership and the Board on risk, non-financial disclosures, and stakeholder expectations. My work required regular, direct engagement with regulators, translating regulatory requirements into business strategy and board-level governance decisions.I played a leadership role in securing regulatory approval for the MUFG Union Bank acquisition, negotiating a $100 billion Community Benefits Plan which required managing regulators, community groups, and internal leaders to clear the path to close.I developed my operating discipline over more than 20 years at Target Corporation, where I advanced through merchandising, sourcing, inventory strategy, and community investment roles. I directed P&L strategy for multiple revenue lines, managed over $1 billion in global sourcing, and led product design and development operations for Target’s $10 billion Home Apparel business. In roles from Senior Buyer to Director of Merchandise Planning and Store Merchant, I consistently exceeded financial plans, optimized inventory and assortment based on customer insights, and translated customer data into merchandising, pricing, and supply chain decisions.I retired from U.S. Bank at the end of 2025 and am now focused on executive coaching and board service.
