Senior Executive with many years of experience in multinational corporations, including 22 years at AES. Currently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer the AES Corporation. Recognized in 2020, 2021, and 2022 as one of the Top Three CEOs in Latin America by Institutional Investor. Prior to my current role, I held various positions at AES, including Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer, President of the AES Andes SBU, Chief Executive Officer of AES Andes, Chief Financial Officer for the Andean region, and Chief Financial Officer for the businesses in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University), a Certificate in Management from Darden, and have completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program, along with other executive financial and management studies at Darden, Wharton, and Harvard.
