Satya is an AI and digital transformation executive with 25 years of experience turning technology strategy into measurable business outcomes. As Proofpoint's first Chief Digital and AI Transformation Officer, he built the company's first AI intake, execution, and governance framework, the operating model that decides which AI investments get made, how they ship, and how they're controlled and has delivered multi-million-dollar savings through AI-driven productivity and automation.Before Proofpoint, Satya enabled multi-billion-dollar cloud and subscription transformations at VMware and Cisco. At VMware, he architected and led the ARR billing and commerce platform underpinning $5.5B in revenue at 35% year-over-year growth. He has also generated $500M in new revenue through strategic alliances and scaled IT delivery capacity fivefold.His career spans senior roles at Siebel Systems, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems, and he co-founded a technology startup earlier on. Satya holds an MBA from Babson's Olin School of Business and advanced credentials from Stanford and UC Berkeley.
