Hi there, I’m Bill Anderson. I consider myself a scientist at heart, a chemical engineer by training, and a lifelong student of biotechnology. I’ve been a proud member of #TeamBayer since April 1, 2023. Every day I get to help teams of passionate, dedicated individuals work on making #Healthforall #Hungerfornone a reality. For over 30 years I've served in the pharmaceutical industry – most recently I’ve headed biotech pioneer Genentech in the Silicon Valley and was CEO of Roche’s Pharmaceuticals division. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in several disciplines, including Process and Product Development, Finance, Sales and Marketing, and General Management. I feel equally at home in a manufacturing plant, in the lab, with customers, or in the office with colleagues. In my career, I’m driven by two things: 1) accelerating innovation that improves life, and 2) empowering teams to make a lasting, positive impact with their work. Bayer is the perfect place for me to pursue this further - a company with life sciences at its core, with a compelling purpose and values, and an approach to using innovation as the key to tackle the biggest challenges facing people and our planet. I look forward to connecting! Bill
