Raj Seshadri

I began my career in physics and academia before moving into consulting, strategy, running multibillion-dollar businesses, and leading global teams. I’ve been an advisor, a CMO, worked in finance and with technology, and driven revenue growth and operating leverage. I’m currently the Senior Strategic Advisor to the CEO at Mastercard, supporting key customer relationships and partnerships, select M&A initiatives, and emerging strategic priorities that will sustain diversification and growth for decades to come. I previously served as Chief Commercial Payments Officer, where I built a new global business unit to capture the next horizon of opportunities in commercial payments and money movement. Prior to that, I served as President of Data & Services, helping establish services as an engine of growth for the company. Throughout my career, I have been proud to lead talented and dynamic global teams that deliver rapid innovation with adaptive agility to help companies grow rapidly and thrive successfully, while actively engaging as a force for good in their communities.
