As CFO of Pearson, the world's lifelong learning company, I lead financial strategy and value creation across a global organisation serving millions of learners. One of the things I enjoy most about Pearson is being part of a business that helps people grow. Learning doesn't stop when you leave education - the desire to keep learning remains important throughout a person's life.I've spent my career - including five years as CFO at Sky, prior to joining Pearson - helping businesses navigate complex change, optimise financial performance and build sustainable growth. With experience spanning financial reporting, FP&A, strategy, capital allocation and accounting, I view finance as a strategic partner to the business.Collaboration, transparency, authenticity and clear communication are at the heart of how I work, along with challenging yourself and always staying open to new ideas.I’m a husband, father and Leeds fan (order of importance subject to frequent change...) as well as a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, an obsessive runner, enthusiastic golfer, eclectic music lover and owner of a constantly changing number of cats and dogs.
