I superannuated as the Senior Executive Vice President – Secretarial & Legal Services and Company Secretary of Rane Holdings Limited, the apex company of approx. Rs.8,400 crore Rane Group, an acknowledged leader in the auto component industry. I was heading the centralized service for the secretarial and legal functions of Rane Group. My experience ranged from handling public issue, rights issue, preferential issues, buy-backs, open offer, restructuring, demergers, mergers & amalgamations, acquisitions and divestment of businesses. I negotiated the M&A deals for the group both from the buyer side as well as from the seller side, the joint venture agreements and the technology license agreements with the foreign collaborators. I had established good governance practice systems for Rane group and undertook digitization and automation initiatives in secretarial and legal functions.
