After graduation in the Science Major in 1971, joined Lakshmi Machine Works, Coimbatore as a Management trainee . In 1974 moved to Madras to open and head their Madras operations. In 1982 organized the shipping and clearing Division and established the operations of Imports and Exports successfully and formed Lakshmi Cargo Company Ltd. In 1994, promoted as Chief Executive of Granite Division of L M W. In 1997 moved to the Head Quarters at Coimbatore to head Purchase and Imports as General Manager (Commercial). During 2000, as a Project Leader for Business Process Reengineering ,worked very closely with BCG. In 2002 , as a Project Director of e-Vistaa , implemented 29 modules of ERP ( Oracle 11i e-business suite) in the entire organization at five locations. Scope of operations expanded as Supply Chain Management department consisting of Sourcing , purchasing ,imports, outside processing, logistics and the ware house management and promoted as Vice –President Supply Chain Management. Participated in AMP in Harward Business School. September 2009 moved to China as Chairman of LMW TEXTILE MACHINERY(SUZHOU)CO.LTD,CHINA Established the China operations succesfully.
