As Chief Executive Officer for Verizon’s consumer unit, I serve the largest consumer customer base in the U.S. with over $103.5B in total revenue (2022). Finding new ways to connect, empower and add meaningful value to our customers’ lives is what drives me every day. To best serve our customers, I have developed my own leadership framework built on two main principles. First, always lead with kindness. Developing and maintaining relationships with kindness as a prime consideration can foster better and longer-lasting relationships, and in turn, more cohesive and more productive operating units. Second, I am committed to building diverse and inclusive teams in all dimensions – diversity of thought, gender, culture, and background. I bring decades of experience in the telecom industry to my work – spanning consumer, media, enterprise, security and critical infrastructure. During my nearly 10-year tenure at Verizon, I’ve led transformative work around product strategy, network innovation, operations and go-to-market - always with complete focus on what our customer segments need and how we solve their pain points every day. Prior to my current role, I served as CEO of Verizon Business, leading the digitization of businesses, governments, and communities around the world to help our valued customers, including 99% of Fortune 500 companies, reimagine their employee, supply chain and end-to-end-customer experiences. With $31B+ in annual revenue, Verizon Business is the leader in new 5G-based technology-led innovation. Other executive roles I’ve held at Verizon include: President of Global Enterprise, leading a global team focused on delivering solutions to enable enterprise customers to securely connect to the global economy and intelligently manage business operations. Chief Product Officer, responsible for the consumer and business product portfolio and implementing major strategic initiatives including two of the company’s largest programs, Network Transformation and One Fiber, which served as the foundation for Verizon’s progress in wireless network densification and 5G. Chief Financial Officer (Verizon Media) and Chief Transformation Officer. Before my time at Verizon, I spent almost a decade at Boston Consulting Group, as Partner and Global Sector Leader for the Telecom practice area focused on driving large scale, enterprise-wide transformations. I received an M.B.A. from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and am a proud Terrier.
