I have over three decades of experience in the Indian financial markets, primarily in equity research and fund management. I began my career as an analyst in 1994 at India's first boutique equity research firm. Over the next 25 years, I covered various sectors, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Industrials, Telecom, and Power, at organizations such as Edelweiss, Motilal, and HDFC Mutual Fund. Although I started managing funds in 2006 and later took on leadership roles, my passion for analysis continues to drive me. After spending two decades in the Indian mutual fund industry, I am excited to join the insurance sector as the Chief Investment Officer of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company and to embark on this new journey. I believe in a fundamental approach to investing and adhere to the philosophy of "Growth at a Reasonable Price." While investing in equities is fundamentally about pursuing growth, it is equally important to consider the price paid to ensure that one is not overpaying.
