I have had a long career in the banking sector, the majority spent at ANZ New Zealand having joined in 1997. After spending number of years in client facing roles in the Institutional division, I was appointed Managing Director Institutional in March 2020. The Institutional business manages Client Relationships with Institutional and Corporate customers providing Financial Markets, Transactional and specialised Financing products to customers across the wider franchise. In reporting to both the CEO of ANZ New Zealand and Group Executive Institutional, who is based in Melbourne, I am on the leadership teams of the NZ bank and the global Institutional business. ANZ’s New Zealand Institutional business is a market leader in wholesale banking and is rated #1 across most measures in the annual Peter Lee Associates survey, in addition to regularly achieving #1 positions in specialised product league tables.
