I’m a global technology and digital leader with 30+ years of experience helping large, complex enterprises transform through data, AI, and digital innovation. As Vice President & CIO of United States Steel Corporation (earlier NYSE: X), I lead IT as a strategic enabler of our Best for All® strategy — driving enterprise-wide modernization, AI and GenAI adoption, and secure, cost-optimized operations that fuel growth and resilience. I oversee our cloud-first and cybersecurity strategies, spearhead data and AI integration into core business decision-making, and partner with executive and HR leadership to advance a forward-looking talent strategy focused on reskilling and continuous learning. Before joining U. S. Steel, I served as an interim CIO/CTO/CDO and expert consultant across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia-NZ — leading high-impact transformations for Fortune 500 and private-equity-backed companies. My work has included scaling AI platforms, integrating post-merger technology environments, modernizing IT governance, and driving multi-billion-dollar digital transformation programs. Earlier, I held senior roles with KKR (Asia ex-China) and McKinsey & Company, where I co-led McKinsey’s Enterprise Architecture and IT Modernization practice in Asia and helped global clients deliver sustained business value through digital innovation.
