I became CEO of Barclays UK in February 2024. We are one of the UK’s leading financial brands, trusted by over 20 million personal banking customers, 5 million credit card users, and 1 million business banking clients. I joined Barclays in Feb 2023 as the Global Head of Consumer Banking and Payments and have worked in Financial Services for over 20 years. Prior to joining Barclays, I spent 12 years at Lloyds Banking Group, latterly as the Group Director, Retail and 12 years at Santander UK in a range of roles. I am a Chartered Accountant, and have previously served on the FCA’s Practitioner Panel, HM Treasury’s Financial Inclusion Policy Forum and the Money and Pensions Service Advisory Group.
