Yutaka Sasaki

Representative Director, Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of NTT, Inc.Having built my career with NTT DATA over more than three decades, I have witnessed the company’s growth from a domestic systems integrator to one of the world’s leading IT services providers, operating in more than 70 countries and regions. These experiences have shaped my belief that transformation is driven not only by technology, but by people and collaboration. In 1990, after completing my graduate studies at the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, I joined NTT DATA Communications Systems Corporation. I have since supported clients across various industries including telecom, food and beverage, and manufacturing, as well as promoted mission-critical large-scale system development projects.In 2016, I was appointed SVP Head of Business Solutions Section, overseeing solution business and leading NTT DATA's global strategy and further expansion of digital business.In 2021, I took charge of the Head of Corporate Headquarters, overseeing the business alighnment efforts with NTT Ltd. As a result, the service portfolio expanded, and there was an uptick in revenue from overseas operations. Strategically, I restructured into three entities: Japan operations, international operations, and a holding company supervising both, while spearheading the formulation of the group's mid-term management plan from fiscal year 2022 onwards.In 2023, I was appointed NTT DATA Group Representative Director, SEVP, and while also serving as the CTO.In 2024, I became Representative Director, President and CEO, aiming to lead the world in innovation based on the group's vision of "Trusted Global Innovator," striving for further contributions to our clients’ success.
