Applied Materials’ executive leadership structure is organized under President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Dickerson, with leadership spanning key business areas, including the Semiconductor Products Group, Information Technology, Human Resources, Strategy, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Legal, Research & Development, and Finance. Under the company’s Information Technology function, led by Chief Information Officer Hari Jayaram, sits the Data Management and Analytics team, headed by Mike Armacost (Managing Director, Advanced Services Engineering, Data Analysis, Service Program Development), and the Enterprise Architecture team under Deanna L. Shannon (Managing Director, IT Enterprise Architecture, Risk and Compliance). The Digital Transformation and Innovation function is led by Chief Digital Officer Simon Dunning, while Application Development is managed by Thorsten Kril (Managing Director, Common Applications). Andrews is Chief Technology Officer for Global Product Innovation, and Tristan Holtam is Group Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development and Chief of Staff to the CEO. The Marketing function includes Gigi Lai, Irfan Malik, and Sony Varghese (Managing Director, Strategic Marketing, Next Generation Products). Engineering leadership reports from Youssef Loldj, Eric Englhardt, and John Garbayo, each holding the title Managing Director, Engineering. The Product function contains the Product Management, Product Development, and Product Support sub-functions. Product Management includes Irfan Malik, Ajay Bhatnagar (Managing Director, Global Product Management, Dielectric Deposition Products), Nagarajan Rajagopalan (Managing Director, Head of Key Product Unit), and Ajith Kota (Managing Director, Product Management). Product Development is managed by Kevin Kashefi (Managing Director, Product Development, Research and Development), who also appears under Research & Development, alongside Joseph AuBuchon (Managing Director, Product Unit, General Manager) and Steven Sherman (Managing Director, General Manager, Advanced Products Group).
