Executive Overview
Alex Rogers is President, Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) and Global Affairs, Qualcomm Incorporated. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the strategic direction of the QTL business unit and ensuring continued growth and monetization of the unit’s existing and future licensing programs through negotiation of significant licensing agreements. Alex possesses more than 20 years of legal and business experience and has applied it to managing intellectual property as well as regulatory and commercial litigation matters for Qualcomm. Prior to joining Qualcomm in 2001, Alex was a partner with the law firm of Gray, Cary, Ware & Friedenrich (now DLA Piper), specializing in intellectual property litigation for various technology companies. Alex holds M.A. and B.A. degrees in English Literature from Georgetown University and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
