With over 33 years of experience in integrated steel operations, I have dedicated my career to transforming complex manufacturing environments into high-performing, efficient, and reliable production systems. My journey spans ironmaking, agglomeration, steel melting, rolling operations, RMHS, and large-scale capacity expansion.Currently serving as Senior Vice President – Integrated Steel Operations at JSW Steel, I lead ironmaking, agglomeration, RMHS, and jetty operations, ensuring continuous production, safety excellence, and asset reliability. Some of the key milestones in my current role include sustaining blast furnace productivity at 14,100 TPD (5,358 m³) during modernization activities and scaling liquid steel capacity to 4.77 MTPA. I also oversaw the commissioning of India’s largest BOF converter and Hot Strip Mill-2, contributing to enhanced operational performance and customer satisfaction.Over the years, I have introduced advanced metallurgical and digital technologies such as Sublance, Kanbara Reactor, Twin RH, Level-II systems, EMS mould automation, and ladle tracking solutions. My experience also covers production planning, raw material handling, cost optimization, and achieving OTIF delivery targets across multiple units.
