Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance Executive with 25+ years of technology sector experience, currently serving as SVP, Deputy General Counsel & Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at HP. Previously the legal leader for HP’s global Commercial Legal organization, she worked closely with the CEO, Chief Commercial Officer, and the C-suite to advise on strategic, geopolitical, and legal matters shaping HP’s $54B business, focusing on unlocking new revenue streams through deep business insights. Today, she directs the global litigation, employment, and ethics functions across a complex corporate risk portfolio. A trusted advisor to the Board of Directors, she counsels both the Audit and HR/Compensation Committees, manages complex financial liabilities, and builds regulatory frameworks for AI and emerging technologies. Recognized for cultivating a critical cultural shift toward calculated, revenue-accelerating risk-taking, she was handpicked by the CEO for the enterprise’s elite SVP successor track leadership program and personally nominated to the NYSE Board Advisory Council for public board placement.Before her role at HP, Amy served as VP & Associate General Counsel at Meta, overseeing legal product matters for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Ads. Her leadership was instrumental in the international expansion and product launches at Meta. Amy also led the legal team for Oculus VR, scaling legal support for Oculus' transformational hardware and software businesses.Amy’s extensive experience in the tech industry is further bolstered by her work at Intel Corporation, where she led legal efforts for new devices and served as Chief Integration Attorney during Intel's acquisition of Altera Corp, overseeing the integration of thousands of employees across the globe. Before joining Intel, Amy began her career in prestigious law firms, focusing on corporate transactions and patent litigation.Beyond her corporate roles, Amy is deeply committed to nonprofit board service. She has served as President and Chair of Challenge Success, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth and mental health as well as a Board Member of Big City Mountaineers, an organization that provides backcountry trips for youth from disinvested communities.Amy holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and is a Fulbright Scholar, which reflects her academic excellence and international perspective.
