Atish is responsible for overseeing the global Information Technology function at Facebook. His team is responsible for building and running systems that will help scale Facebook globally enabling the company to continue making the world more open and connected.

• Responsible for all global regulated services for Facebook Payments, operating all licenses by creating the strategic vision and the compliance operational processes, systems and controls, in a high-volume environment (multi-billion in GMV and transactions) including Games, P2P services, and Charitable Giving to meet regulatory requirements for various global payment regimes such Money Service Business (MSB) requirements in the US and EU, E-money issuance • Responsible for all compliance program designs and implementations for new payment products to optimize the user experience, to mitigate fraud, and compliance risks, through cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Business Development, Engineering, Legal, Operations, and Finance • Responsible for building scalable and cost-effective compliance programs that have undergone the scrutiny of scores of regulatory exams. Program elements include financial reporting, monitoring capital requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) programs, know your customer (KYC) screening, suspicious activity report (SARs) filing, global Sanctions screening as well as content violation referrals and policy enforcement. • Responsible for governance and oversight for financial services risk assessments, policies and procedures, systems and operational testing, training programs, internal and external audits, and regulatory reviews as well as Board reporting • Responsible for supporting the legal department for high scale legal technical services, including legal tools product requirements and management, data analytics, data science, data engineering and support services. Supports the highly complex needs of FB where projects span large XFN teams in and outside Legal or requires training content development and deployment to over tens of thousands of personnel/vendors • Responsible for Trade Compliance operations for the movement of physical goods, and technology across boarders for import, export, and customs
