Anand Shenoy

Anand Shenoy is the Global Vice President and Chief Data Officer at Mars Snacking. In this role, he is responsible for defining and executing the global data and AI strategy and promoting its adoption throughout the enterprise. As the first Chief Data Officer at this iconic 110-year-old family-owned company, Anand established the global CDO organization from the ground up and currently leads a high-performing data and AI team that serves as a central hub for addressing global, regional, and cross-functional analytics, AI, digital technology, and cross-segment data needs. With two decades of experience working with large, global Fortune 500 companies, Anand brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Before joining Mars, he led the Corporate Data Office at Intel, where he established foundational and enterprise-scale data and AI capabilities, as well as governance frameworks. His leadership experience also includes managing global organizations of 80 to 500 people. Prior to Mars and Intel, he held management positions at big-4 consulting firms such as Deloitte Consulting, and Ernst & Young, where he helped some of the leading Fortune 500 companies define and execute their ambitious data and digital transformation programs. Anand holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the Business School at the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He has been recognized as a top global data leader by CDO Magazine, DataIQ, and other prominent industry forums. Most recently, he was named the third most influential leader in data and AI among the top 100 global data and AI leaders of 2025. Anand also advises various external communities, universities, and boards.
