As Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer on the executive leadership team of Liberty Mutual Insurance, I help the organization anticipate and decipher emerging trends, disruptions, and innovations; lead and disseminate our overall and long-term enterprise strategy; drive cross-business unit engagement and alignment; and execute key strategic priorities across the enterprise. My Enterprise Strategy & Innovation function includes Liberty Mutual’s in-house management consulting arm (Corporate Strategy & Research), a strategic alignment group (LMG Alignment), a global innovation incubator (Solaria Labs), and an enterprise venture capital group (Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures) that invests in early-stage startups to glean critical insights on emerging disruptive trends. I’m passionate about driving transformational change in our organization and creating a motivating and engaging workplace that fosters intellectual curiosity, professional development, and personal fulfillment. During my 10-plus years spent across management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, Genworth Financial, and General Electric Financial, I advised clients in a variety of industries, solving business-critical challenges, developing future growth strategies, and driving large-scale transformations. I have a specialized focus in financial services, specifically the property and casualty, life, and mortgage sectors. My breadth of capabilities include setting long-term global, regional, and market strategies; managing capital, portfolio & risk for global organizations; developing multi-year strategic financial plans; and leading large-scale transformations and associated change management. Throughout my career I have also led business unit and functional teams including Strategy & Insights, Global Portfolio & Risk Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Venture Capital. I’m a proud executive co-sponsor of the Leading and Empowering Asian and Ally Professionals (LEAAP)@Liberty employee resource group (ERG), one of our seven employee resource groups, where I provide strategic guidance to the LEAAP leadership team and advocate for the ERG’s activities and projects. Previously, I was national co-lead of the WE@Liberty — Liberty’s ERG for women and allies — Culture and Experience group. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
