As Iron Mountain’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Barry A. Hytinen is responsible for a broad range of functions including all aspects of finance as well as corporate development, global business services, procurement, revenue management, real estate, transformation, and strategic oversight for the company’s fine arts storage business. He has served as Iron Mountain’s CFO since January 1, 2020. He serves on the Board of Directors of ABM Industries Incorporated, a leading provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. Previously, he served on the Board (and Chair of the Audit Committee) at Resident, a leading direct-to-consumer and e-commerce mattress company. Before joining Iron Mountain, he served as executive vice president and CFO at HanesBrands, where he helped diversify the company's business model and offerings to achieve sustainable results in an evolving global retail environment. While at HanesBrands, Mr. Hytinen was responsible for finance, accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations, internal audit, global shared services, strategy, and corporate development, as well as the company’s corporate initiatives program. Previously, Mr. Hytinen was executive vice president and CFO for Tempur Sealy International (now known as Somnigroup), the world’s largest bedding company. In that role, Mr. Hytinen was responsible for all aspects of finance, as well as strategy, corporate development, legal, and the company’s flagship store business. Prior to that role and since 2005, he served in a range of finance, corporate development, financial planning, and investor relations roles at Tempur Sealy International, including as executive vice president, Corporate Development and Finance. While at Tempur Sealy, he led all aspects of the acquisition and integration of Sealy Corporation, and launched the company’s flagship store program. Mr. Hytinen was CFO of Fogbreak Software, a venture-backed software company, prior to joining Tempur Sealy International. Earlier in his career, he held finance and corporate development positions at Vignette and General Electric Company. Mr. Hytinen earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. with honors in Finance and Political Science from Syracuse University.
