With years of experience in leading compliance and risk management programs, I am a passionate and innovative leader who drives global security and compliance frameworks. Reporting to the Global GRC team at Visa, my mission is to serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional leaders and support compliance objectives and initiatives. As a compliance thought leader, I have built initial Information Security Compliance Programs, for global organizations. I have successfully achieved certifications for multiple platforms and frameworks, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and PCI DSS. I have also leveraged my expertise in data privacy, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance to design and implement training on policies, processes, emerging technology, and best practices. I am a certified Cybersecurity Instructor at "Visa University". Additionally, I have served as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law and Santa Barbara and Ventura Schools of Law. Working remotely since 2007, I have developed a culture of collaboration, innovation, performance, and compliance among my team and colleagues. I have also earned recognition as a leader with an exceptional ability to motivate and lead top teams, and as a subject matter expert who provides oversight and guidance, and innovation in adult education.
