Over the course of my career, I’ve been most interested in how technology can help a business operate differently and perform better. I’ve found that the most meaningful changes usually come from understanding how the business works, where complexity creates friction, and where technology can enable a better approach. I have spent seven years in CIO leadership, including expanded roles as COO and Chief Transformation Officer, building on more than 20 years of technology and operational leadership. Today, I report to the CEO and lead the company’s technology and transformation function, including cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and GRC, vendor management, and technology enablement for the company’s data, analytics, and AI agenda.My experience has included moving an enterprise to a cloud-only architecture, modernizing data and analytics, expanding the practical use of generative AI, and helping lead significant changes across actuarial, finance, and insurance operations. Much of my work has involved bringing business and technology perspectives together—helping define what needs to change, building the capabilities to support it, and working with teams across the organization to put those changes into practice.My earlier experience at Swiss Re included global responsibility for finance technology and the operation of major SAP and Oracle ERP environments, along with significant work across international teams and business units. That experience gave me a strong foundation in global operations, financial systems, enterprise applications, and strategic sourcing. I also passed the Uniform CPA Examination and am named inventor on U.S. Patent US8121913B2, reflecting a long-standing interest in practical innovation and solving complex business problems.
