“Be so good they can’t ignore you.” - Ender’s Game I empower teams to modernize and replatform legacy technology for Fortune 100 enterprises, driving digital transformations that improve employee and customer experiences. I am a collaborative, intuitive, and influential senior IT leader with leadership experience, technical background and proven track record in setting high standards and goals for engineering teams to accelerate the consistent build of quality, innovative technical solutions that remove entrenched legacy software. Career highlights include: ➢ Led successful digital transformation of three major platform modernization journeys, achieving $200M claims savings, $13M mortgage savings and $49M telephony savings. ➢ Reduced defect remediation time by 70% and value delivery throughput by 50% by establishing a Release When Ready process that preserved delivery quality. ➢ Improved staff morale by 20% eNPS in moving a 150-person team to Full SAFe model operating on product ownership. ➢ Received award for delivering customer-centric application at Southwest Airlines, gaining accolades from Flight Attendants like “way IT applications should be delivered”, and “they listened to what we wanted.” I went into the Army thinking I wanted to be a doctor, so I trained as a field medic and was assigned to a Medical Brigade Headquarter Company. I found myself leading the Patient Administration section, setting up computers and field networks. I loved it and knew my new career path was in IT. In college I discovered that logic and frameworks appealed to me. When I approached problems, I preferred to look for the “system gaps” that led to the problem in the first place. My love for automation, simplification and optimization was born. Early on in my career I led a Revenue Accounting platform replacement effort with a vendor product written on top of SAP. I realized that leading people and setting teams up for success was as motivational to me as solving business problems with technology myself. Today I love building great IT teams with talented software engineers who are curious and show initiative to learn and explore. I love partnering with Business Executives to strategize, anticipate customer needs, and use technology to solve these strategic goals and market needs. I look forward to continuing to serve businesses that are passionate about its mission and embed technology as an enabling component of its business strategy to deliver on its mission.
