Since August 2024, Debashis has taken a new role as Chief Operating Officer for Genpact Retail business. Since 2018, Debashis has worked as Sr. Global Operating leader, Analytics for Healthcare & Life Science, Consumer goods and retail business in Genpact. Before taking up the role of Sr. GOL, analytics of Healthcare & Life Science, Consumer goods and retail business, he worked as the Operating Lead for multiple accounts in Manufacturing & Services vertical & various accounts in HiTech vertical. As Global Operating leader, he is responsible for revenue growth, manage the P&L, responsible for client management, ensuring the operational excellence, bringing thought leadership in the organization. He is also responsible for supporting the pre-sales activities and leading the customer discussion during the sales process and maintaining the customer relationship. Before joining to Genpact, started his career in SAIL in 1990. Worked close to 13 years in Operation, Maintenance, Materials Management & Procurement, Inventory Management and Planning in an integrated Steel Manufacturing company under Steel Authority of India Limited. With over 33 years of experience in the area of Operation, analytics in multiple verticals, Debashis brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of F&A analytics, Supply Chain, sales and marketing analytics & Population Healthcare Management and Advance analytics to every customer engagement. In last 13yrs, Debashis has provided leadership in building the Analytics team in India from scratch and helped in strengthening the Genpact- customer relationship. Debashis prides himself in applying quantitative methods to solve business problems. Debashis has supported a number of Fortune 500 companies around the globe like Ford, GM, BMW, Merck, Cardinal Health, Whirlpool, Pepsi, CISCO, eBay, Symantec, ESI, OptumRx, Merck, Pfizer, GSK, Otsuka, J&J, The Coca Cola Company, ELC, Sysco, Circana, Walmart, Ahold, McD, BJ's to name a few. Debashis resides in Bangalore, India with his wife and daughter and loves playing guitar
