I am a highly collaborative, results oriented CFO who works well cross-functionally to grow and scale organizations. I have a strong process orientation that facilitates the reengineering of existing processes/procedures to the point of attaining best practices, as well as delivering the tools, information and analysis that help to drive outstanding results. I effectively partner with the business’ key constituents such as other executives, board of directors, sales teams, investors, customers, and vendors. I have successfully managed traditional CFO responsibilities including finance transformation, M&A, financial planning, accounting, legal and management reporting, audit, tax, treasury, consolidations, risk, systems selection, design & implementation, as well as the information technology and domestic warehousing and distribution functions. As a leader, I am motivational and I take immense pride in the development and mentoring of the individuals who comprise the organization, across all functional disciplines. I am a hands-on executive that thrives within the culture and challenges of both established and growth stage companies. I have created value across various industries, including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and services. As an individual, I am modest, diplomatic, genuine, and ethical. My communication skills are excellent and as a thinker, I am both independent and objective. I have a positive “can do” attitude which typically permeates the organizations of which I am a part. Significant Accomplishments include: - Lead the selling process of a family founded and owned company in collaboration with the company CEO, Board of Directors, as well as investment bankers. In collaboration with the investment bankers, created the Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) and lead the Quality of Earnings (QOE) development along with a Big 4 firm. Met with potential buyers (strategic and private equity); resulted in successful sale of multi-billion-dollar entity to private equity firm effective May 2021. - Assigned by the global CFO of a Fortune 500 company to reduce the Finance operating costs for the European Finance function of the company. Successfully lead the process of identifying and creating a Shared Service Center (SSC) in an existing company location in Belgium. Living in Europe (France), collaborated closely with all European Finance management teams to determine the content, processes, and systems aspects of the SSC.
