I serve as a non-executive director, with a strong record in growth, M&A, strategy and performance improvement across Canadian, UK and NZ listed companies. My international career spans leadership of large teams (up to 12,000 people across APAC), membership of a global ExCo in a 70,000-person, $33 billion market-cap business, to working in around 30 countries.I have led companies through full business cycles — from turnaround to high growth — across a broad range of industries: infrastructure, energy (including decarbonisation), telecommunications, property, and environmental & legal services. As an engineer and CEO accountable for multi-billion dollar projects, I bring technical depth alongside commercial acumen. In my governance and advisory roles, I deliver oversight and counsel, selecting and developing senior executives, driving ESG, financial and safety-compliance performance. I operate with a strong appreciation for the evolving energy transition, recognising that good companies support Paris-aligned goals, and an orderly shift to a lower-emissions economy while continuing to deliver essential energy services. Alongside my board work, since early 2024 I have been working on documentary photographic projects profiling Australians contributing to climate solutions (see climatesolvers.com.au), extending into examining adaptation in affected areas. This work has taken me inside major companies, regional communities and laboratories nationwide providing insight on how the transition is unfolding on the ground. I completed a Master of Arts in Photography, a formal qualification that complements my decades in commercial leadership and my interest in visual storytelling. My work has been exhibited at UTS over 50 metres of wall space, featured in River Dialogues (2025) in Melbourne and Osaka, the Head On Exposure Awards 2025 (Australian Runner Up), has received awards in the Australian Photographic Prize, the Mono Awards and the Capture Awards, and images have been published in two Autralian mastheads.Credentials & Affiliations• Fellow, Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering• Fellow, Australian Institute of Company Directors• Honorary Fellow, Engineers Australia (former Board member, College of Leadership & Management)• Chartered Professional Engineer & Engineering Executive• Fellow, University of Technology Sydney• Former CEO Asia Pacific, WSP• Honorary Member, Business Council of Australia• Former Chairman, Ravenswood School for Girls• Former Director, Green Building Council of Australia
