Ampol, an independent Australian firm, stands as the leading supplier of transport fuels in Australia and, following its purchase of Z Energy, in New Zealand as well. We operate the country’s largest branded petrol and convenience network, alongside fuel refining, importing, and marketing of fuels and lubricants. As the energy transition moves forward, we are expanding our electric vehicle (EV) public charging networks in both Australia and NZ. With a heritage spanning more than 120 years, we are publicly listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the New Zealand Exchange (NZX). Ampol delivers fuel to over 110,000 business and SME clients across a wide range of sectors in the Australian and NZ economies, including mining, transport, marine, agriculture, aviation, and other commercial and industrial fields. Through our retail networks in Australia and NZ, we serve around 4 million customers each week with fuel, convenience items, and EV charging services. Our capacity to serve this diverse customer base is underpinned by a strong supply chain and strategically located infrastructure. In Australia, this involves 15 terminals, 6 major pipelines, 53 wet depots, 1,790 Ampol branded locations (including 636 company-controlled retail outlets), and a single refinery at Lytton, Queensland. In NZ, we have expanded our footprint via the acquisition of Z Energy. Our operations in New Zealand now include 9 terminals and 513 sites (covering both Z Energy and Caltex branded locations). This network is backed by more than 9,100 employees across Australia, NZ, Singapore, and the United States of America (USA). Over recent years, we have utilized our Australian operations to broaden our supply chain and reach into international markets. This includes our Trading and Shipping division, based in Singapore and Houston in the USA, as well as our overseas storage assets across the Asia Pacific region and North America. Additionally, Ampol holds a 20% equity stake in Seaoil, a prominent independent fuel company in the Philippines.
