Ian Brooksbank

Highly experienced CEO, CFO and non-executive director of commercial and NFP entities. Industry experience includes renewable energy, electricity generation, distribution, and retailing, building materials and transportation. I have experience in Government Business Enterprises, ASX listed and private equity corporations at senior and executive levels. Board level experiences ranges across Government, NFP and commercial entities. I have worked in the Australian energy industry for over 20 years in senior finance and operational roles culminating in my last executive role - CEO of Hydro Tasmania. I have worked across most of the energy supply chain, holding senior operational leadership roles for some of Australia’s largest generation assets. I am accountant by trade, father of three, and a keen but average golfer. I am excited by the opportunities at EnergyAustralia and by the contribution I will make as CFO. We have big ambitions to transform our business and play a leading role in Australia's energy transition to renewable and sustainable energy. Our purpose is "To lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all" is an ambition I share.
