AGL, a leading Australian energy retailer and operator of the country's largest private electricity generation portfolio, is led by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Damien Nicks. Reporting directly to Nicks are the Chief Commercial Officer David Moretto, the Chief Financial Officer Gary Brown, the Chief Customer Officer Jo Egan, the Chief Information Officer Andrew Haddad, the Chief People Officer Amanda Lee, and the Chief Operations Officer Matthew Currie. Under the Finance function, Gary Brown and Max Jones both hold the title of Group Chief Financial Officer. Within Information Technology, CIO Andrew Haddad oversees two sub-functions: Data Management and Analytics, headed by General Manager of Data and Enterprise Technology Shaun Code (Chief Data and Analytics Officer), and IT Service Management (ITSM), which includes Mel Daniel as Chairperson of the Carers Network. Operations is led by Matthew Currie, who serves as Chief Operations and Construction Officer.
