Jorgen Espelund

With a passion for Strategy and Operations and over 20 years of experience in relevant roles across the technology sector I am a experienced and impactful leader able to help drive companies to the next level in performance. My expertise lies in helping companies formulate and develop strategies that are right for their goals and customers and see them through to execution. So often strategies fail not because they are bad, but because they are not followed through and given opportunity to breathe and grow. This is achieved through the setting out of clear timelines and milestones to measure progress against. I have done this in a number of roles and the results have spoken for themselves. Operational excellence is powerful partner to strategy - once clear on the what, then the focus can turn to the how. By building the strategy into every operational fibre of an organisation you can ensure that every ounce of investment and effort is focused on its execution. This comes through the alignment of management systems, organisational structure, compensation, communication etc.. My extensive experience has shown me what works, and (importantly) what does not work across a variety of technology sectors and different levels of company maturity. I have the ability to transcend levels of seniority from individual contributors to the boards, helping to ensure there is connectivity and alignment of mission across the organisation. Having spent much of my youth across Europe I am fluent speaker of English, Italian and Norwegian and thrive on interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
