John Dietrich

I served as Executive Vice President and CFO of FedEx, where I oversaw the corporation’s global financial functions, including strategic financial planning, corporate development, investor relations, treasury, tax, internal audit, accounting, sourcing and procurement, and controls. I’m focused on disciplined capital allocation, financial resilience, and enabling our long-term transformation strategy so we can continue to deliver outstanding value for our customers and shareholders. I have 30+ years in aviation and air cargo, starting at United Airlines as an attorney and then spending 20+ years at Atlas Air Worldwide, during which time I served as General Counsel, COO and ultimately President and CEO. During my time with Atlas, I was both a customer and collaborator with FedEx, which gave me a deep appreciation for the FedEx network and the role it plays in connecting people and possibilities around the world.I serve as Chairman of the National Defense Transportation Association, and I also sit on the public boards of American Airlines Group, AAR Corporation and First Horizon Corporation. Outside of work, I enjoy all forms of sport and exercise, particularly golf, hiking and skiing. But most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife and three adult children.
