John Dietrich

John Dietrich is EVP and CFO of FedEx Corporation. He has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation and air cargo industries, including over 20 years with Atlas Air Worldwide, serving as President and CEO, and as a member of the Board of Directors. He currently serves as Chairman of the National Defense Transportation Association, and is a director on the boards of AAR Corporation and First Horizon Corporation. As CEO of Atlas Air Worldwide, he drove the company’s vision and strategy, and had oversight of the company’s portfolio of businesses: Atlas Air Southern, Polar Air Cargo, and Titan. John was appointed President of Atlas Air Worldwide in 2019 and served as COO with responsibility of all aspects for the company’s global operations from 2006 until assuming the CEO position in 2020. John joined Atlas in 1999 as Associate General Counsel. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2004, which increased his responsibility to include oversight of human resources and corporate communications. Prior to joining Atlas Air Worldwide, John worked for United Airlines for 13 years, serving as a corporate attorney in his last position there.
