Manavendra Sial

Manavendra (Manu) Sial is a seasoned financial executive with over two decades of experience in global finance and operations a consistent track record of creating business value and exceeding expectations. He is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Tenneco, a leading global automotive supplier. Since joining in early 2024, Sial has taken the helm of financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, and tax and treasury, playing a crucial role in weaving financial strategy with core business operations to propel Tenneco forward. Prior to joining Tenneco, Sial was CFO at Fluence Energy, a global market leader in energy storage products and services, and cloud-based software for renewables and storage assets. His tenure at Fluence was preceded by executive roles at SunPower Corporation (2018–2022) and VECTRA (2015–2018), where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO. At SunPower, he led treasury, project finance, investor relations, financial planning, and accounting functions. Sial's earlier career includes significant leadership positions at SunEdison, where he served as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific and South Africa from 2013 through 2014. He began his career at General Electric, spending 11 years in various finance roles, including Regional Finance Manager, gaining extensive experience in financial management. Sial holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
