Matt Nord

Matt Nord is Partner and Co-Head of Equity at Apollo, where he co-leads the firm’s private equity franchise and oversees the hybrid value fund and growth equity strategies. Matt has led numerous investments across technology, healthcare and business services. He is a member of the Firm's Leadership team and Apollo Women Empower (AWE). Matt is on the board of directors of West Technology Group, and Lifepoint Health. Prior to joining Apollo in 2003, he was a member of the Investment Banking division of Salomon Smith Barney Inc. Matt graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics. He serves on the Montefiore Health System Board of Trustees, the Board of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, the Board of the DREAM School, and as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania’s Stuart Weitzman School of Design.
