Currently an Executive Director in the Enterprise Strategy Office. My principal responsibility is leading a team focused on Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Crisis Management. This role involves broad cross functional, cross divisional interactions across all Merck division and business areas. Prior to my current role, I have an additional 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry spanning various roles and disciplines including: • Project management to facilitate product development strategies to bring new pipeline products to the market and optimize marketed assets through life cycle management • Cross functional team management with responsibility for network restructuring and site closure related activities • Project management of source change activities to align supply chain needs and activities supporting relocation of manufacturing/production of approved products • Strategy development and design of the overall manufacturing network footprint to align with strategic goals • Pilot plant facility and operations management • Lab development and scale-up of synthetic chemistry processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients I hold a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a MS in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University, and an MBA from New York University: Leonard N. Stern School of Business with specializations in Strategy and Operations management.
