Rick Carney

Rick is a transformational business/technology executive having served in multiple capacities throughout his career ranging from CIO to CTO, running a professional services business for an IT vendor, and serving on the board of a publicly traded technology company. He is a passionate and energetic leader who builds high-performing Customer Services-focused IT teams. Rick has a diverse background covering multiple business sectors including transportation/logistics, retail, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services. Rick is an award-winning executive having been a finalist in the NJ Technology Council’s CIO of the Year award, winning a LISA Award from the Long Island Software & Technology Network for the development of a healthcare portal that improved patient care, and leading the IT organization whose efforts helped TRAC Intermodal win the Private Company of the Year award from the NJ Technology Council. Rick has served in an advisory capacity to many organizations including Governor Pataki's Cyber Security Task Force, The Stevens Institute IS Executive Board, The College of Staten Island's Private Sector Advisory Committee, he is a Past President of the NJ Chapter of SIM, and he speaks regularly at various industry events.
